If you like to learn on the go, then the Kajabi app is going to make things so much easier for you. Not only can you access all of your Summerana course benefits from the app, but you can also use it to access other courses that you may have signed up for elsewhere.
It’s super simple to use and only takes a few moments to set up, so we really recommend that you give it a go. Here’s how to get started and begin using Kajabi!
Why use Kajabi?
First of all, a note on why you might want to bother doing all of this. The great thing about Kajabi is that it acts like a virtual wallet for all of your different photography courses, allowing you to get access to them in one place without having to remember all of your login details or go to lots of different apps.
You can access all of the course materials that your membership entitles you to, which means you don’t have to worry about missing out on anything when you’re not on a computer or laptop. And you can learn on the go, which is perfect for long journeys or nights when you want to read a bit before bed.
Because it’s so easy to set up, there’s really no reason not to use Kajabi. If it makes learning easy, then we’re all about it!
Download Kajabi
You can easily find Kajabi in your app store just by searching for it by name. There is only one Kajabi and it takes just a few seconds to download and install, so go ahead and put it onto your device of choice and you’ll be ready to start.
The next step is to follow the instructions on-screen. When prompted to enter your email address, make sure to use the address that you signed up for Summerana membership with, so that Kajabi can easily find and connect your account.
Once your email address is in, you’ll be asked to confirm your address by clicking a link in an email from Kajabi. This makes sense – after all, you wouldn’t want someone else to be able to steal your access! Now wait a few moments – if the ‘Select your sites’ button is greyed out, that just means that Kajabi is still loading.
As soon as the button turns blue, click it and you will see a list of learning sites that you have signed up for using your email address. Summerana should be on the list too! Click on as many of them as you would like to add now, and don’t worry as you can come back to add more later.
Access your Summerana courses
When you are logged in, you’ll see a menu on the right-hand side of the screen which has the names of the courses you are signed up for. Tap on Summerana, and you’ll be taken to your membership portal. If you want to access that menu again to change your course, then just go ahead and click on the three lines at the top of the screen at any time.
Now that you’re in the Summerana page, you will see all of your modules are laid out for you to choose from. Starting with your most recently viewed at the top of the page, you will then see options to access all of the following:
- The ‘Welcome’ message
- Product downloads
- Summerana Magazine, where you can read and download your issues
- Live streams for editing events and workshops
- All of the different learning modules, from start to finish
This is super handy because you don’t have to remember where you’ve got up to. Just start from the most recently viewed module at the top of the page and you’ll be able to get started!
When you tap on the individual module that you want to access, you can go through each stage step by step. Click the ‘get started’ button at the top of each screen to begin right from the beginning if you’ve never entered a module before. You can post comments to engage with your fellow learners, follow links to find extra downloadable resources, or tap the tick mark at the top of your screen to mark the lesson as completed.
When you return to the main module page, you will see that the lessons you have done are marked as done, and your ‘get started’ button now prompts you to ‘resume’ instead, picking up right where you left off.
By the way, you can even use some of your product downloads right from your smartphone using Adobe apps. Check out our tutorials on Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Express, and Lightroom to find out how.
Add more courses
Just in case you accidentally signed up for Kajabi with a different email address, or one that isn’t connected to other courses you’ve signed up for elsewhere, you can also add more email addresses in your settings. Hit the three lines to open your website list, and then tap the settings cog in the corner.
This will allow you to add another email address with the same process as the first one. This means you can get everything in one place, without any hassle at all. And if you want to try all of your email addresses to see what’s connected to them, go ahead – Kajabi will let you know if there isn’t any account connected to that address.
When you’ve got the Kajabi app set up, it’s also super easy to look out for new updates in your course. Whenever Summerana releases a new module or some new learning resources, you will be able to access them simply by going to the ‘Updates’ tab at the bottom of the screen. There you can read all news updates in order. And if you’re looking for something specific that you remember but need a refresher on, just use the search bar to find it!
The Summerana Kajabi app is an easy and fun way to learn on the go – so try it today!
